What i mean by this is that apple has defied all expectations and has become a great company. Far better than anyone could have imanged when in 2001 the stock price was below $10. Imagine if you have 1000 shares in 2001 you would be sitting pretty today.
What changed everything? The ipod.
A simple music player that at the time was highly overpriced and yet everyone (including me) wanted one.
Apple has done so well.
